Welcome to MECEC,
MECEC is celebrating its 14th year! It has grown from a small group of twos and threes, originally organized to serve the needs of a fast-growing community of young families with the need for early childhood education.
Children learn best when they are engaged in meaningful play. At MECEC, whether the
children are in the construction room, art room, playroom, or activity room their cognitive,
physical, and psychosocial well-being is engaged. I invite you to browse our website, visit our

Licensed by the NY State Office of Children and Family Services, our preschool classes are for children aged 2.9 - 5 years, with an option of 3 or 5 mornings a week: 8:30am-12:30pm.
Children bring a nutritious lunch from home: 12:30 pm 1:30 pm.
We offer two extended day options for students enrolled in the morning program: 3 pm or 4:30 pm pickup time.
Our summer camp program is a weekly theme based learning adventure for children ages 2.9 - 5 years old. The 2024 Camp will run for six weeks 6/24/24-8/2/24. Applications will be available on a first come first serve basis. The application will be available starting on 3/1/24 at 9 AM.
